A scriptural view of our Father’s sovereignty begins with a proper understanding of how much greater our Father is than all the peoples of the earth:
Isaiah 40:6-7 The voice of one saying, Cry. And one said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field. (7) The grass withereth, the flower fadeth, because the breath of Jehovah bloweth upon it; surely the people is grass.
Our total existence in this life is but a vapor before our Father:
James 4:13-14 Come now, ye that say, To-day or to-morrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain: (14) whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. What is your life? For ye are a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Psalms 103:15-19 As for man, his days are as grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. (16) For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; And the place thereof shall know it no more. (17) But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children’s children; (18) To such as keep his covenant, And to those that remember his precepts to do them. (19) Jehovah hath established his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom ruleth over all.
God created man in their image and likeness thus we had dominion over the rest of creation:
Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (27) And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Then sin entered the world:
Romans 5:12 Therefore, as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin; and so death passed unto all men, for that all sinned:
After the fall, man lost dominion and preeminence over the beasts of the earth:
Ecclesiastes 3:18-20 I said in my heart, It is because of the sons of men, that God may prove them, and that they may see that they themselves are but as beasts. (19) For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; and man hath no preeminence above the beasts: for all is vanity. (20) All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
From God’s perspective Adam and all the souls born from his wife Eve are worms:
Job 25:4-6 How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? (5) Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, And the stars are not pure in his sight: (6) How much less man, that is a worm! And the son of man, that is a worm!
A worm can not see or hear and spends it’s life in the earth!:
Isaiah 24:5-6 The earth also is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. (6) Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
Such is the case with any human who God chooses to keep blind and deaf to His Word:
Deuteronomy 29:4 but Jehovah hath not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
Romans 11:8 according as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this very day.
Even the children of God are considered to be worms in need of their Father to redeem them:
Isaiah 41:14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith Jehovah, and thy Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
The wisdom of all men is but foolishness to God:
1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He that taketh the wise in their craftiness:
And no one can restrain His purpose:
Job 42:1-2 Then Job answered Jehovah, and said, (2) I know that thou(Father Most High)canst do all things, And that no purpose of thine can be restrained.
Our Father’s ways are much higher and wiser than all of us combined:
Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah. (9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
This earth is merely our Father’s footstool:
Isaiah 66:1 Thus saith Jehovah, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will ye build unto me? and what place shall be my rest?
And not even the heavens can contain our Father:
1 Kings 8:27 But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded!
All the nations are but nothing in His sight therefore He asks: “To whom then will ye liken God?”:
Isaiah 40:15-18 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are accounted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing. (16) And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt-offering. (17) All the nations are as nothing before him; they are accounted by him as less than nothing, and vanity. (18) To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?
There is nothing like our Father nor like Him with His Word who have declared the end from the beginning:
Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old: for I am God(EL~Father), and there is none else; I am God(Elohim~Father with His Word), and there is none like me; (10) declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;
But before we can understand the totality of our Father’s sovereignty over all of His creation we must first try to wrap our head around His existence as the Most High God before any of His creation!
We have scripture that declares our Father exists from everlasting to everlasting:
Psalms 90:1-2 A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling-place In all generations. (2) Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God(EL~Father Most High)
This use of “everlasting” describes an eternal state before the world was created. The term “everlasting” is also used in the same manner to describe God’s throne. We will call this “everlasting past”:
Psalms 93:2 Thy(Jehovah Most High’s) throne is established of old: Thou art from everlasting.
Genesis 14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of God(EL~Father) Most High, possessor of heaven and earth:
It was during this “everlasting past” that our Father brought forth His Wisdom also called “Understanding” and set Him up as His Master workman to speak forth all the rest of creation:
Proverbs 8:12 & 14 & 22-31 I wisdom have made prudence my dwelling, And find out knowledge and discretion…….(14) Counsel is mine, and sound knowledge: I am understanding; I have might…….(22) Jehovah(Father Most High) possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old. (23) I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was. (24) When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. (25) Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth; (26) While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of the dust of the world. (27) When he established the heavens, I was there: When he set a circle upon the face of the deep, (28) When he made firm the skies above, When the fountains of the deep became strong, (29) When he gave to the sea its bound, That the waters should not transgress his commandment, When he marked out the foundations of the earth; (30) Then I (Wisdom~Word) was by him(Father~Jehovah), as a master workman; And I was daily his delight, Rejoicing always before him, (31) Rejoicing in his habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men.
This Wisdom is our Father’s Word that eventually became Jesus who was foreordained before the foundation of the world by our Father:
1 Corinthians 2:7-8 but we speak God’s wisdom(His Word) in a mystery, even the wisdom that hath been hidden, which God(Father) foreordained before the worlds unto our glory: (8) which none of the rulers of this world hath known: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord(Wisdom~Word~Jesus) of glory:
1 Peter 1:19-21 but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ: (20) who was foreordained(predestined) indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested(in the flesh) at the end of the times for your sake, (21) who through him(Jesus) are believers in God(Father), that raised him(Jesus) from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God(our Father through His Son Jesus).
The Word who was to become Jesus was His Father’s delight whom He loved before the foundation of the world in everlasting past:
John 17:24 Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Father created both the heavens and the earth by His Power, Wisdom, and Understanding:
Proverbs 3:19 Jehovah(Father Most High) by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding he established the heavens.
Jeremiah 10:12 He(Father Most High) hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens.
So Father’s Master Workman is His Power, Wisdom, and Understanding manifesting in Jesus Christ:
1 Corinthians 1:24 but unto them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
All 7 Spirits of the Father were in His Son Jesus that demonstrated His Father’s Power, Wisdom, and Understanding:
Revelation 5:6 And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb(Jesus) standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
Those 7 Spirits are listed in Isaiah 11:1-2 as:
1)the Holy Spirit of Jehovah
2)the Spirit of wisdom
3)the Spirit of understanding
4)the Spirit of counsel
5)the Spirit of might
6)the Spirit of knowledge
7)the Spirit of the fear of Jehovah
Isaiah 11:1-2 And there shall come forth a shoot(Jesus) out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit. (2) And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.
We know that Jesus was the Word before He became flesh:
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten(Word~Jesus) from the Father(Most High God), full of grace and truth.
And Jesus will come with His name which is “The Word of God“:
Revelation 19:13 And he(Jesus) is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Our Father magnified His Word above His own Name!:
Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou(Father) hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
As the Wisdom of God, Jesus spoke as the Word of God through the OT prophets and NT apostles:
Luke 11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom(Word~Jesus) of God(His Father), I will send unto them prophets and apostles; and some of them they shall kill and persecute;
We know that the Word of God who is Jesus is the same from the Old Testament through the New Testament and for ever:
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday(OT) and to-day(NT), and for ever.
So the Wisdom is the Word that was in the bosom of the Father:
John 1:18 No man hath seen God(Most High~Father) at any time; the only begotten Son(Jesus), who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
And was brought forth out of the Father as His firstborn of all creation before the earth was:
Colossians 1:13-15 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son(Jesus~Word) of his(Father~Most High God) love; (14) in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins: (15) who(Word~Jesus) is the image of the invisible God(Most High~Father), the firstborn of all creation;
As His firstborn our Father is the Most High God over His Son who is also a God as this passage clearly proves:
Hebrews 1:5-9 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day(a point in everlasting past) have I (Father) begotten thee(Word)? and again(sent as the “Word of God” to the prophets of the OT), I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son. (6) And when he again(the Word became Jesus in the NT) bringeth in the firstborn into the world he saith, And let all the angels of God(Father) worship him(Jesus). (7) And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels winds, And his ministers a flame of fire: (8) but of the Son he(the Father) saith, Thy throne, O God(Jesus), is forever and ever; And the sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (9) Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God(Father Most High), thy(Jesus’) God(Father Most High), hath anointed thee(Jesus) With the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Our Father set His Word up “from everlasting”:
Proverbs 8:22-24 Jehovah(Father Most High) possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old. (23) I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was. (24) When there were no depths, I was brought forth(as the Father’s Wisdom~Word), When there were no fountains abounding with water.
So His Wisdom~Word was brought forth out of His Father and went forth “from everlasting”:
Micah 5:2 But thou, Beth-lehem Ephrathah, which art little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee shall one come forth unto me(Most High Father) that is to be ruler(Word~Jesus) in Israel; whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.
This Wisdom~Word is our Father’s Master Workman through whom all things were made:
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word(Wisdom) was with God(Most High~Father), and the Word was God(Deity as well with the Father). (2) The same was in the beginning with God. (3) All things were made through him(Wisdom~Word); and without him was not anything made that hath been made.
So the Father existed in everlasting past alone with His Word as Wisdom within His bosom:
Psalms 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God(EL~Father Most High).
Then our Father brought forth His Word as the firstborn of all creation in everlasting past to exist together as the Most High God and His Word who is our God as well “from everlasting and to everlasting”:
Psalms 106:48 Blessed be Jehovah, the God(Elohim~Father Most High with His Word) of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye Jehovah.
So the Father with His firstborn Word as the Elohim then created the heavens and the earth with darkness upon the face of the deep:
Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God(Elohim~Father and His Word) created the heavens and the earth. (2) And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
That darkness upon the face of the deep is the host of fallen angels who fell at some point before the creation of the earth and have been kept in everlasting spiritual bonds under darkness:
2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not angels when they sinned, but cast them down to hell, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Jude 1:6 And angels that kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
They are the part of the spirit world under satan who are the world-rulers of this darkness and spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places that we wrestle against:
Ephesians 2:2 wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince(satan) of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience;
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.
Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Colossians 1:16-17 for in him(the Word) were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible(physical world) and things invisible(spiritual world), whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him; (17) and he(the Word)is before all things, and in him all things consist.
Father clearly told us He created the darkness that performs the evil dwelling within and above His earth:
Isaiah 45:5-7 I am Jehovah, and there is none else; besides me there is no God(Elohim~Father with His Word). I will gird thee, though thou hast not known me; (6) that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none besides me: I am Jehovah, and there is none else. (7) I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things.
Lamentations 3:37-39 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord(Father Most High) commandeth it not? (38) Out of the mouth of the Most High cometh there not evil and good? (39) Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
The Holy Spirit of our Father clearly told us through Paul that some of His angels were elected to stand in righteousness and the rest would fall:
1 Timothy 5:21 I charge thee in the sight of God(Father), and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.
He now uses those evil spirits to His left along with the righteous spirits to His right as the host of heaven to orchestrate His will on the earth:
1 Kings 22:19-23 And Micaiah said, Therefore hear thou the word of Jehovah: I saw Jehovah sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. (20) And Jehovah said, Who shall entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one said on this manner; and another said on that manner. (21) And there came forth a spirit, and stood before Jehovah, and said, I will entice him. (22) And Jehovah said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt entice him, and shalt prevail also: go forth, and do so. (23) Now therefore, behold, Jehovah hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets; and Jehovah hath spoken evil concerning thee.
After the Elohim created the heavens and the earth they then created the visible things over the course of seven days and finished their work on the morning of the 7th day and rested the rest of that day:
Genesis 2:1-4 And the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. (2) And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. (3) And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it he rested from all his work which God had created and made. (4) These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven.
All the “physical things” in and on the earth were created by the Word of God thru that which we can not see:
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen hath not been made out of things which appear.
Within Genesis 1:1 thru Genesis 2:4 is a prelude to what will be a 7 thousand year timeline for life on Earth that we will not prove here for I have already proven it with much scripture here:
Here is a very simple timeline of what the scriptures teach us about our Father~God Most High’s existence:

It is within the 7000 years of that physical world where time and space exist. Our Father exists outside those physical constructs:
Psalms 90:1-4 A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling-place In all generations. (2) Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. (3) Thou turnest man to destruction, And sayest, Return, ye children of men. (4) For a thousand years in thy sight Are but as yesterday when it is past, And as a watch in the night.
Psalms 139:7-10 Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? (8) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. (9) If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; (10) Even there shall thy hand lead me, And thy right hand shall hold me.
2 Peter 3:8 But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
It is within that 7000 year window that our Father sent forth His Word to become His Son in the flesh to redeem His elect that began with Abel’s death and will finish with the last soul that becomes a part of the body of Christ:
Ephesians 1:17-23 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; (18) having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, (19) and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might (20) which he(Father) wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, (21) far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (22) and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him(Jesus) to be head over all things to the church, (23) which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
There are many passages that clearly prove Jesus was foreordained to be the elect Servant of His Father who only spoke what His Father told Him to speak:
Isaiah 42:1 Behold, my(Father’s) servant, whom I uphold; my chosen(elect), in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my (Holy)Spirit upon him(Word~Jesus); he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
Luke 9:35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my Son, my chosen: hear ye him.
Acts 3:13 & 26 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Servant Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied before the face of Pilate, when he had determined to release him…..(26) Unto you first God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.
Acts 4:26-30 The kings of the earth set themselves in array, And the rulers were gathered together, Against the Lord(the Father), and against his Anointed(Jesus): (27) for of a truth in this city against thy(Father’s) holy Servant Jesus, whom thou(Father) didst anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together, (28) to do whatsoever thy(Father’s) hand and thy(Father’s) council foreordained to come to pass. (29) And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants to speak thy word with all boldness, (30) while thy stretchest forth thy hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of thy(Father’s) holy Servant Jesus.
John 5:36 But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
John 12:49-50 For I (Jesus) spake not from myself; but the Father that sent me, he hath given me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. (50) And I know that his commandment is life eternal: the things therefore which I speak, even as the Father hath said unto me, so I speak.
Within that 7000 years the Father has predetermined where each nation will exist along with where each man and woman will live in place and time:
Acts 17:24-26 The God that made the world and all things therein, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; (25) neither is he served by men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; (26) and he made of one every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed seasons, and the bounds of their habitation;
He is completely sovereign over time and seasons as well as all leadership in every nation that has or will exist:
Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of Jehovah as the watercourses: He turneth it whithersoever he will.
Daniel 2:20-22 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever; for wisdom and might are his. (21) And he changeth the times and the seasons; he removeth kings, and setteth up kings; he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that have understanding; (22) he revealeth the deep and secret things; he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
Daniel 4:34-35 And at the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth for ever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation; (35) and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
Romans 13:1 Let every soul be in subjection to the higher powers: for there is no power but of God; and the powers that be are ordained of God.
Even the number of days each of us will live are predetermined by our Father along with our inward parts being our soul and spirit along with our outward appearance:
Psalms 139:13-16 For thou didst form my inward parts(soul and spirit): Thou didst cover me(with a body) in my mother’s womb. (14) I will give thanks unto thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well. (15) My frame was not hidden from thee, When I was made in secret, And curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth(the womb). (16) Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, Even the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was none of them.
Zechariah 12:1 The burden of the word of Jehovah concerning Israel. Thus saith Jehovah, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him:
Jesus makes it very clear in His prayer to His Father that it is His Father who equipped and sent His Son into the world to secure the souls His Father gave Him:
John 17:1-26 These things spake Jesus; and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, Father(Most High), the hour is come; glorify thy Son(Jesus), that the Son may glorify thee: (2) even as thou(Father Most High) gavest him(Jesus) authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou(Father) hast given him(Jesus), he should give eternal life. (3) And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God(Father), and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ. (4) I glorified thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which thou(Father) hast given me(Jesus) to do. (5) And now, Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was(everlasting past). (6) I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou(Father) gavest me(Jesus) out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they(elect) have kept thy(Father’s) word. (7) Now they(the elect) know that all things whatsoever thou(Father) hast given me are from thee: (8) for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them; and they received them, and knew of a truth that I (Wisdom~Word~Jesus) came forth from thee(Father’s bosom), and they believed that thou didst send me. (9) I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; for they are thine: (10) and all things that are mine are thine, and thine are mine: and I am glorified in them. (11) And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I (Jesus) come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name(nature, character, authority) which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are. (12) While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition(Judas Iscariot); that the scripture might be fulfilled. (13) But now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves. (14) I have given them thy(Father’s) word; and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. (15) I pray not that thou shouldest take them from the world, but that thou(Father) shouldest keep them from the evil one. (16) They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. (17) Sanctify them in the truth: thy word is truth. (18) As thou(Father) didst send me(Jesus) into the world, even so sent I them into the world. (19) And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. (20) Neither for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through their word; (21) that they may all be one; even as thou, Father(‘s Holy Spirit) art in me, and I (the Word) in thee(bosom of the Father), that they also may be in us: that the world may believe that thou didst send me. (22) And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one, even as we are one; (23) I (Spirit of Jesus~Word) in them(disciples), and thou(Father’s Word and Holy Spirit) in me(Jesus), that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that thou didst send me, and lovedst them, even as thou lovedst me. (24) Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou(Father) lovedst me(Wisdom~Word~Jesus) before the foundation of the world. (25) O righteous Father, the world knew thee not, but I knew thee; and these knew that thou didst send me; (26) and I made known unto them thy name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou lovedst me may be in them, and I in them.
It is our Father who draws those souls He ordains to eternal life to His Son:
John 6:44 No man can come to me(Jesus), except the Father that sent me draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day.
Acts 13:48 And as the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
And it is Jesus who then reveals the Father to those He is instructed to by the Father:
Luke 10:22 All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, save the Father; and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him.
The Holy Spirit clearly spoke through Paul that there are some “worms” who were chosen before the foundation of the world by our Father and predestined unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto our Father:
Ephesians 1:1-11 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God(the Father), to the saints that are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus: (2) Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: (4) even as he(Father)chose(elected)us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love: (5) having foreordained(predestined)us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself(Father), according to the good pleasure of his will, (6) to the praise of the glory of his(Father’s) grace, which he(Father) freely bestowed on us in the Beloved(Word who became Jesus): (7) in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, (8) which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, (9) making known unto us the mystery of his(Father’s) will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him (10) unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, I say, (11) in whom also we(chosen~elect)were made a heritage, having been foreordained(predestined)according to the purpose of him(the Most High Father)who worketh all things after the counsel of his will;
2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
These elect souls were written in the book of life from the foundation of the world and will overcome so as to not be blotted out:
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Then there are souls such as Judas Iscariot who were written in the book of life but were or will be blotted out for disobedience:
Acts 1:24-25 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men, show of these two the one whom thou hast chosen, (25) to take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas(Iscariot) fell away, that he might go to his own place(Hell).
But there are also some souls who were never written into the book of life from the foundation of the world:
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, every one whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.

This remnant of people our Father foreknew from the foundation of the world receive His grace by election but the rest are hardened by our Father:
Romans 11:1-8 I say then, Did God cast off his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (2) God did not cast off his people which he foreknew. Or know ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel: (3) Lord, they have killed thy prophets, they have digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. (4) But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have left for myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal. (5) Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. (6) But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. (7) What then? That which Israel seeketh for, that he obtained not; but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened: (8) according as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this very day.
2 Peter 2:9 the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment unto the day of judgment;
This “election of grace” was determined by our Father before the foundation of the world long before any of us demonstrate the sinful nature we are born with:
Romans 9:10-13 And not only so; but Rebecca also having conceived by one, even by our father Isaac– (11) for the children being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth, (12) it was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. (13) Even as it is written, Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.
Such was the case with Jeremiah and John the Baptist who our Father sanctified before they were born:
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations.
Luke 1:15 For he(John the Baptist) shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.
He has already chosen who He will extend His mercy and compassion to:
Romans 9:14-16 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. (15) For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. (16) So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that hath mercy.
Those such as Pharaoh were created for the express purpose of magnifying the Father’s name as He continued to harden his heart:
Romans 9:17-19 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, For this very purpose did I raise thee up, that I might show in thee my power, and that my name might be published abroad in all the earth. (18) So then he hath mercy on whom he will, and whom he will he hardeneth. (19) Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he still find fault? For who withstandeth his will?
The Father has a right to make His clay into whatever vessel He desires:
Romans 9:20-24 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus? (21) Or hath not the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?
Those of us who are called to be vessels of mercy must humbly recognize the “election of grace” extended to us:
Romans 9:22-24 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction: (23) and that he(Father) might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory, (24) even us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?
So we are here to make our calling and election sure by partaking of the divine nature granted to us through His precious and exceeding great promises found in our Father’s Word:
2 Peter 1:1-11 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and the Saviour Jesus Christ: (2) Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; (3) seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue; (4) whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust. (5) Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge; (6) and in your knowledge self-control; and in your self-control patience; and in your patience godliness; (7) and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love. (8) For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (9) For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins. (10) Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble: (11) for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
But the conclusion of the matter is this! In the “everlasting past” the Most High God who we refer to as our Father “produced” a “script” in His mind! He then “brought forth” that “script” out of His bosom and declared that Wisdom His Word and firstborn of all creation! Our Father as the “Producer” then used His Word as His “Director” who delivered the “script”ures to us as the cast of characters created over a 7000 year period on His stage called earth under our Father’s heavens!:
Acts 7:48-50 Howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in houses made with hands; as saith the prophet, (49) The heaven is my throne, And the earth the footstool of my feet: What manner of house will ye build me? saith the Lord: Or what is the place of my rest? (50) Did not my hand make all these things?
Acts 17:24-31 The God(Father with His Word) that made the world and all things therein, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; (25) neither is he served by men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; (26) and he(Father with His Word) made of one(Adam) every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed seasons, and the bounds of their habitation; (27) that they should seek God, if haply they might feel after him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us: (28) for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain even of your own poets have said, For we are also his(Father’s) offspring. (29) Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and device of man. (30) The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent: (31) inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man(Jesus) whom he(Father) hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
